Terms of Service & EULA

Effective Date: October 8, 2026 · Mac App Store Compliant

Summary: By downloading, installing, or using LoadDock, you agree to these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA. LoadDock is an offline utility offered under a perpetual, non-exclusive license with optional one-time Pro purchase.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Apple Standard EULA

These Terms of Service ("Terms") and End User License Agreement ("Agreement") govern your access to and use of LoadDock (the "Application" or "App"), developed by the LoadDock team ("we", "us", or "our"), available via the Mac App Store and our website (loaddock.app).

Because LoadDock is distributed via the Mac App Store, this Agreement incorporates by reference the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). In the event of any conflict, these terms supplement and prevail over the Standard EULA to the extent permitted by applicable law.

2. License Grant & Scope of Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run LoadDock on macOS devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may use LoadDock for personal, educational, or commercial desktop productivity workflows.

3. Pro In-App Purchase & Payment Terms

  • Free Features: LoadDock allows free usage of core features, including up to 3 Loadout configuration groups and ⌥1–5 action hotbar slots.
  • LoadDock Pro (One-Time Purchase): You may unlock the full feature set (up to 5 Loadouts and extended ⌥QWERT slots) by purchasing LoadDock Pro through the Mac App Store.
  • No Recurring Subscriptions: LoadDock Pro is a non-consumable, one-time purchase. There are no monthly or annual recurring renewal fees.
  • Restoring Purchases: You may restore your Pro purchase on any Mac associated with your Apple Account without paying again, using the "Restore Purchases" button in the application.
  • Billing & Refunds: All payments and refunds are processed exclusively by Apple Inc. according to Apple's Mac App Store policies and guidelines.

4. System Permissions & Requirements

LoadDock requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or macOS 15.0+ (Sequoia) running on Apple Silicon or Intel-based Mac computers.

The Application utilizes macOS Accessibility APIs strictly to detect configured global shortcut combinations. By enabling this permission, you acknowledge that it is necessary for the core hotbar and Peek HUD functions.

5. Restrictions & Prohibited Uses

You agree that you will not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application;
  • Modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, or tamper with the Application binary or its digital signature;
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Application to third parties;
  • Bypass, disable, or tamper with any security controls, licensing checks, or StoreKit purchase validation mechanisms in the Application.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to LoadDock (including the software design, visual layout, icons, hotbar user interface, source code, and trademarks) are and will remain the exclusive property of LoadDock and its creator.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER OR LOAD DOCK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies.

10. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, excluding conflict of law rules.
